About Katrina Garvey
Katrina Garvey is a deaf student studying Bachelor of Photography majoring in Photojournalism and documentary Practices at Griffith University. She is passionate about exploring and documenting deafness, sexuality, gender, language and imagination, through visual artistic medium of photography.
In her spare time she enjoys bush walking, camping, traveling and exploring nature.
Recently she visited Cambodia to explore the lives of deaf people. She is keen to continue to her documentary work and storytelling through photography and film. She is open to collaboration opportunities with organisations looking to do research projects.
Katrina is alos available for hire as freelance photographer for portraits and creative shoots.
